Firestorm Bagration - Overview

I am targeting mid-march as the start date and will look to complete one game turn every two weeks. Three months to complete the six turn version of the
game.

Some initial thoughts I have are:

- Keep this historically "pure" - The Battle Front Staff Campaign already showed the flexibility of Firestorm in allowing non East Front forces, so with the world wide player base there is no reason not to limit ourselves to more historically accurate campaign.

- Allow each side to set up a yahoo group or other access controlled forum to discuss strategy etc. Ultimately each group would have to have a final decision maker to submit orders by the deadline. This person could be elected by the group or appointed, maybe randomly chose each cycle, but they only way to make this work is have a final arbitrator for each side to keep us on schedule.

- Allow each fight generated to be fought multiple times anywhere in the world. The end result would be the average of those battles results reported. Battle results would not be accepted if they do not include an after action report (at least a page in length and with a photo or two). All battle reports would be converted into PDF and hyperlinked to the main map of each turn. (The normal Battle Front web rules for posting pictures of non-BF models would apply to these battle reports). Painting and terrain quality would be a perquisite for participation. I would not expect a "world class" in either but do think a basic average" tournament" standard should be maintained.
