Turn-2

While able to take control of Guadalcanal and build a critical second airfiled, the Allies failed to take New Georgia from the Japanese. The US Navy also took a beating at sea and lost two capital ships. The Americans must have better results in Turn-2 if they are going to survive in this campaign. See Battle Tickets for details.

Turn-1

Both Japanese and American forces are focusing their effort on the two critical airfields of New Georgia. Tactical actions include fleet actions in Sector D and Sector H and ground battles on Guadalcanal, Malatia, and New Georgia. See Battle Tickets for details.
