Concept: One Day/Three Round Campaign played at Pet
Shop Comics in Louisville, KY on June 5th, 2010.
Scope: Utah beach and the airborne
drop zones-St.Mere-Eglise to St.Marie du Mont to the
Douve
river line in the south. Up to 6 German and up to 7 US players Sources: D-1, D-Day, Bloody Omaha
one player - one company of 1000 points
companies get all combat and weapons options only
support allocated based on conditions at game time
or random assignment
Objectives: Beach landing companies
must successfully land and link with airborne and
at the end of session 3 hold both beaches and any
two of the three other tables.
Defending German forces must defeat these objectives.
Special Rules:
1) A series of 'linked tables' will
create the axis of attack style map.
Overall commanders will allocate available
companies to each
table between sessions.
2)
A maximum of two companies may be assigned
per table .
US Naval gunfire rules per D-Day book.
3)
Three sessions, each of 2 hours, with 1/2
hour RnR between rounds.
Other: This will be set up as a 3 session
'axis of attack' style campaign.
Overall winner is the team that successfully
holds the line against
invasion or takes their main objective
boards by end of session 3.
