Format: 1500 point Normandy Late War one day, three round event. See registration link above for allowable forces.

Entry Fee: $10.00 paid at the Tournament. All fees go directly into awards and food provided during the event.

Location: Pet Shop Comics & Collectibles, 1191 Hillview Blvd. #4, Louisville, KY 40229 (502) 957-3188 - "The" premier Flames of War gaming location in Kentucky.

10:30am – 1:00pm Round 1
1:00pm – 1:30 pm Lunch/Prep for Round 2
1:30pm - 4:00 pm Round 2
4:00pm – 4:30 pm Prep for Round 3
4:30pm – 7:00pm Round 3
7:00pm – 7:30pm Tally of Results
7:30pm - Out-brief and Award Presentations

We will have slots for 12 Allied and 12 Axis players.

Event Coordinator is Tom Burgess. ctburgessiii@hotmail.com, Mike Pfanenstiel will run the event on the day of execution. We are currently looking to use a modified Firestorm Format based off of Shifting Sands 2009 More details to follow.

Key Concept Notes:

Victory Points, Army (Painting/History), and Sportsmanship will be judged. Final scores will be based off of VP totals. Other areas will be used as tie-breakers.

List (and optional histories) are due to the Tournament Organizer no later than July 1st, 2009 if you are using a BF Normandy Book or official Normandy pdf. If you desire to use a force based on some other source, that list and history is due NLT June 23rd, 2009 and is subject to approval by the tournament organizers. Basically if you have a force that is a legtimate representaion of a unit that fought in the Normandy Campaign from June to August 1944, you should be good to go.
